AFR600 device is an active RFID tag reader which works on 2.4-2.5 Ghz. It is a small reader (10cm per side) and it is made of black painted aluminum. The device can be connected with two external antennas to optimize the coverage range and the distance of active tags reading ( up to 20m with omnidirectional antenna, up to 80m with directional antenna).¹).

The gear has 2 promagrammable opto isolated entrances and 2 programmable relay exits. This I/O (input/output) can be used as trigger signal sender or as external devices pilot. It can be connected to a pc thanks to a mini Usb port or a Wlan connection. Its software has been developed and licensed by Idnova.
